NEW ISSUE INTELLIGENCE

How to research a new token pool step by step

Early crypto listings are high risk. Use a disciplined path: discover → verify identity → short overview → optional deep report → save in Reports. Research and education only — no custody, trading or private keys.

  1. 01DiscoverNew token pools and Issue Canvas surface candidates with chain and contract when known.
  2. 02OverviewMarket snapshot, contract, explorer, listing window — one page you can scan fast.
  3. 03Deep diveNarrative, public team notes, educational contract checks, risks and sources. Confidence stays explicit.
  4. 04LibraryFinished packs land in Reports for reopen, regenerate and compare. Same snapshot hash = same evidence cut.

THE EVIDENCE LOOP

Discover, verify, interpret, document.

Every FindThatEdge screen follows the same crypto research habit: confirm the source, check when data was observed, separate fact from interpretation, and write down what would prove you wrong.

Start here: what this site is for

FindThatEdge is a crypto research and analytics workspace. It helps you check sources, compare tokens, and package notes — not place trades or hold coins for you.

  1. 01Register and open your dashboard (/dashboard). Research examples are clearly labelled DEMO unless your membership includes the real information. Missing real data stays blank.
  2. 02Read the short “what this is for” answer on the page. FindThatEdge is research and education only — not a broker, wallet custodian, or tip service.
  3. 03Use Where-How? when you have a plain-English problem (“find early tokens”, “build a report”) and want the right desk with coverage charts.
  4. 04Open What we do (/what-we-do) once if you need the full product map and keyword-style answers for search and AI assistants.
  5. 05Need help later? Use How to Use (this page), the GuideEDGE “How do I?” button, or Need help? in the side menu.

PLAIN-ENGLISH GLOSSARY

Terms worth knowing before you act on research

FindThatEdge (formerly FTEcrypto)

The crypto research product you are using. Research and education only — not a broker or custodian.

Edge Score

A structured research score from available evidence. It is not a prediction or a buy, sell or hold tip.

Standpoint

Your chosen research lens (for example Bullish or HODLer). It changes emphasis and wording, not the underlying facts.

Sensitivity

How strongly an asset or portfolio may respond to a defined factor or scenario in the tools.

Confidence

How complete, current and consistent the evidence is. Low means incomplete research — not “cheap to buy”.

Liquidity

How easily activity can occur without sharply moving price. New pools can look liquid and still be fragile.

FDV

Fully diluted valuation using eventual or maximum supply — often much larger than today’s market size.

Source-backed

A value linked to a named feed, timestamp and retrieval path — not an anonymous number on a chart.

New token pool

A recently observed trading pool. It does not prove a project is new, safe or investable.

Preflight

Checks identity and evidence readiness before you generate a paid report.

FTE Credits

In-app usage balance for reports and EDGEai after free allowances. Not a blockchain token wallet and not investment advice.

Edge Snapshot

Level-1 short report (about one page) for a fast, source-aware overview of an asset.

Asset Summary

Level-2 short report (about two pages) with more structure than a snapshot.

EDGEai

In-app assistant that analyses evidence attached to the current screen or report. Research only.

GuideEDGE

In-app “How do I?” guide that walks real UI steps. Separate from EDGEai analysis.

Research Desk

Investigation workspace for thesis, evidence, conflicts and next checks before packaging a report.

DYOR Centre

Personal research log and checklists so you record why you believe something and what would change your mind.

EdgePulse

Derivatives-oriented context such as funding and open interest lean when feeds allow — not automated trading.

Interesting Insights

Narrative, seasonal or macro catalysts labelled as research context — not a signal bot.

Watchlist

Your list of tokens to monitor. Monitoring is not a recommendation and not auto-trading.

Protocol TVL

Value locked in a DeFi protocol or chain TVL. Not revenue and not guaranteed tokenholder value.

Snapshot hash

Fingerprint of the data used for a report version so regenerate can detect when inputs changed.

If data is unavailable

Do not treat a blank as zero. Do not reuse an old screenshot as current evidence. Check source status, refresh once, widen the time window if appropriate, and come back if the feed is still down. On New Issue packs, rate limits or research errors stay visible on the pack — retry later rather than forcing a complete-looking report.
